Behind LOK Digital
LOK Digital is developed by Blaž Urban Gracar, a Slovenian artist and game developer and Ferran Ruiz Sala 'Raindrinker' (Icedrop Games), a game developer from Barcelona. LOK Digital began as a critically acclaimed puzzle book, LOK, by Blaž.

The two developers met when Blaž was a playtester of Ferran’s game, Constellations, and the two kept in touch over the years. Blaž posted a work-in-progress of LOK as a puzzle book on itch.io and Ferran found it so interesting he had to build a digital prototype and message Blaž on Twitter to try to convince him to let him work on a digital adaptation. Blaž saw this and was immediately blown away at how well the mechanics translated into the videogame format. Shortly after the official launch of the book, the two began working together on translating the pen & paper mechanics to bring LOK digital to life.

The two developers, (who have not yet met in person but have promised to after the launch) hope that players sink into the cozy, relaxing world they’ve worked hard to cultivate while enjoying the simplicity of the mechanics in tandem with the deep surprises and discoveries they’ll find along the way.
